AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers In Service To America) is a national service program dedicated to fighting poverty in America. VISTA members make a year-long, full-time commitment to bring individuals and communities out of poverty by serving on a specific project at a nonprofit organization or public agency. 

The AmeriCorps VISTA 'Where Louisville Meets the World' project is based in Louisville, KY and includes ten organizations in the metro area.
