Center for Law and Education

The Center for Law and Education seeks to make the right of all students to a high-quality education a reality, particularly in low-income communities. Through materials, training, and technical assistance, we help advocates, educators, parents, and students understand and use elements of high-quality education, research and educational practice relevant to those elements, laws and policies which support those elements and families' rights to obtain them, and effective change strategies. Through our work in Washington, we also seek to preserve and improve federal educational policies which advance the right to high-quality education. In MA our Boston-based office also provides legal support and technical assistance to legal services field programs and other public interest attorneys representing indigent students and their parents in education law related matters.
