Community Outreach & Digital Engagement Intern (TechStep Initiative)

TechStep is a community-based technology training initiative focused on expanding access to cybersecurity, AI, and digital skills for career-changers, students, and underserved communities.

We are seeking a motivated intern to support community outreach, webinars, and digital promotion. Interns will also receive free access to the TechStep Cybersecurity Essential Series, a foundational learning program designed to build cyber awareness and career readiness.

Responsibilities

• Support outreach to schools, community groups, and workforce programs
• Assist with planning and promoting webinars and info sessions
• Participate in short-form content (social posts, testimonials, live sessions)
• Help promote the Free Cybersecurity Essential Series to local and online communities
• Track outreach activities and engagement metrics

Qualifications

• Interest in cybersecurity, education, or workforce development
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Comfortable engaging with people online and in group settings
• Social media familiarity preferred
• Students and career-changers welcome
