Submission Deadline: 5:00PM CST, Tuesday, December 16, 2025
ABOUT TREPWISE
Trepwise is a strategy consulting firm dedicated to unlocking the potential of purpose-driven organizations by aligning people, process, and vision. We partner with clients to strengthen their organizations, engage stakeholders, and move complex work forward through strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, collective impact, and human-centered facilitation. Our approach centers empathy, simplifies complexity, and creates clear pathways for action.
Founded in New Orleans and operating nationally, we design processes that are inclusive, collaborative, and energizing. With a portfolio of hundreds of clients across sectors and geographies, we believe that thriving and equitable communities are nourished by good ideas. At Trepwise, we exist to get people moving in the right direction. We translate insights into strategies that don’t sit on the shelf and help teams align around shared goals, stronger culture, and long-term impact.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Trepwise is seeking a Senior Advisor to lead our most complex, high-impact client engagements, including multi-year nonprofit strategic plans, organizational effectiveness initiatives, and systems-level or collective-impact efforts that span institutions and sectors. As Trepwise continues to expand nationally while deepening our presence in New Orleans, this position is essential to strengthening our local practice and augmenting the expertise of our regional team.
This New Orleans–based role requires deep familiarity with the region’s civic, nonprofit, and public-sector landscape. Senior Advisors represent Trepwise in rooms with client leadership, facilitate dynamic conversations among diverse stakeholders, and translate complex challenges into clear pathways for action. The Senior Advisor is both a doer and a leader: able to independently and efficiently drive work forward, and coach, collaborate with, and elevate their project teams. The Senior Advisor leads their own set of projects and also provides strategic oversight on a small set of engagements led by other Advisors and Senior Associates.
Senior Advisors also help grow the firm by cultivating client relationships, contributing to business development efforts, strengthening team capacity through professional development, and modeling Trepwise’s values of humanity, authenticity, collaboration, curiosity, agility, and rigor in every setting.
The Senior Advisor reports to the Managing Director.

2025 SENIOR ADVISOR APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
How to Apply
Ideal Candidates
Our ideal candidate is an experienced consulting and/or organizational leader with a strong track record of guiding complex, multi-stakeholder work from strategy through implementation. They bring deep expertise in one or more areas of our work: strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, facilitation, systems thinking, and/or qualitative and quantitative analysis. While experience in the nonprofit or public sector is preferred, we welcome candidates from a range of industries who have led high-impact projects, managed diverse teams, and demonstrated the ability to translate complexity into clear, actionable strategies. Candidates who excel in client service, stakeholder engagement, and collaborative problem-solving will thrive in this role.
For this position, we are seeking applicants who live in or are in the process of relocating to New Orleans. We operate on a hybrid basis: our New Orleans-based team members are generally expected to spend time at the office at least one day per week, and are otherwise expected to work locally from a location of their choice. New Orleans-based team members are expected to attend designated in-person team meetings one or more times per month, and may be required to attend certain client meetings in-person (either in New Orleans or elsewhere) as needed.
Hiring Process
The selection process consists of three rounds: a behavioral interview, a case study work product and presentation, and a final interview with the leadership team. Reference checks (3), a Predictive Index Behavioral Assessment, and a background check will be conducted for final candidates.
We aim to extend an offer in January 2026, with a start date in late February 2026.
