    Position: Program Associate at The Learning Agency.

    Location: Applicants must be physically located in the U.S. in either ET or CT time zones, and be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

    Summary: The Learning Agency is hiring a Program Associate to support our growing team. Program Associates typically have 1-3 years of experience in coordination, administration, or similar support roles.

    This role requires strong organizational skills, including exceptional attention to detail, clear communication, and a proactive approach to supporting both relationship management and project execution. The Program Associate will provide logistical, operational, and communications support across a wide range of projects.

    Flexibility and comfort with ambiguity are key, as this role will support multiple concurrent projects that can evolve quickly. Ideal candidates are comfortable working quickly, should have keen attention to detail, and be highly organized, independent, and curious. The position will provide the individual with significant exposure to trends in the education and technology fields and has high potential for career growth.

    About the Program Associate: The Program Associate will engage in diverse needs across the organization. This section describes a candidate that would be a fantastic fit for this role in each key area of responsibility:

    Project Coordination

    You’re great with spreadsheets and juggling projects, are excited to improve processes, and have a keen eye to catch the little errors. You enjoy sending reminders to keep the team on track. Stellar Program Associates have a solutions-oriented approach and aren’t afraid to grow their knowledge base to serve organizational goals. In this role, you’ll:

    • Maintain project trackers and timelines.
    • Provide updates on progress toward deadlines and goals.
    • Help develop and improve organizational systems to support project management.

    Stakeholder Management and Coordination

    You are comfortable tracking communication and relationships across diverse internal and external stakeholder groups, including funders, partners, and other leaders in education and innovation. You take initiative in tracking follow-ups, anticipating needs, and keeping the team informed and on task. In this role, you’ll:

    • Support communication plans and tracking tools to ensure stakeholder engagement stays on track.
    • Assist with drafting updates, scheduling meetings, and preparing materials for high-level partners.
    • Help maintain systems for managing information and relationships across projects.

    Writing and Content Support

    Strong attention to detail in reviewing and revising written materials is essential. You are skilled at proofreading, formatting, and adapting content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity. You bring precision and thoroughness to your work, helping ensure communications are polished and effective. In this role, you’ll:

    • Assist with preparing and formatting communications and promotional materials.
    • Review and revise public-facing collateral such as one-pagers, decks, and landing pages to ensure accuracy and consistency.
    • Support the production of content for social media, newsletters, and websites.
    • Conduct background research and help draft or refine documents, including memos and talking points.

    Community Building

    You’re energized by supporting programs and events that bring people together, including coordinating logistics, crafting compelling content, and keeping everything running smoothly. You understand that one small change can ripple across ten other documents, and you're quick to adapt and respond. In this role, you’ll:

    • Support the execution of programs and events, including managing logistics and preparing materials.
    • Draft clear participant communications and ensure timely delivery of information.
    • Assist with logistics for both virtual and in-person events.

    Bonus Experience:

    Some of our projects require specific expertise, and we are especially excited about candidates that have experience in one or more of the following areas:

    • Communications and writing (social media, email, blog, website)
    • Virtual and/or in-person event coordination
    • Basic design skills (e.g., Canva, PowerPoint)
    • Grant reporting support
    • Research assistance

    Candidate Requirements:

    The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, knowledge, and skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 1-3 years of professional work experience in project coordination, program management, administration, or similar fields
    • Curious and solutions-focused mindset with a willingness to learn and stretch outside of your comfort zone
    • Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
    • Exemplary follow-through and flexibility, especially in the face of unexpected challenges
    • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Experience with Microsoft and Google Drive platforms
    • Interest in the education field and passion for educational equity

    Compensation:

    The expected annual pay range is $60,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience. Full-time employees are eligible for health benefits, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, an allowance for remote office costs, paid time off, and holidays.

    Our Hiring Process:
