Manager of Capacity Building [Part-time]
CL Strategic LLC (CLS) is a small, fast-growing consulting firm providing strategic planning, grant fundraising, and capacity building support for nonprofit organizations in Washington State. We work with organizations across multiple fields, including substance use & mental health treatment, housing & homelessness, racial & economic justice, voting rights, equitable public education, and arts & culture. Chris Langeler, the founder & principal consultant, has eight years of leadership experience in the nonprofit sector of WA State. His expertise is in facilitation, strategic planning, and organizational development. Position Overview:
CLS is seeking a part-time (10–15 hours/week) Manager of Capacity Building (MCB) to lead project management and deliverables for 3–4 nonprofit clients. This role will design and facilitate workshops, coach clients on organizational development strategies, conduct audits of operational systems, research best-practice tools and models, draft recommendations and reports, and support data-collection projects.
This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, values flexibility, enjoys coaching and supporting mission-driven organizations, and wants to contribute to the growth of a small consulting business.

Work Schedule: This role is fully remote, with occasional optional in-person meetings or events. Most work can be completed on a flexible schedule, with some availability needed during standard business hours for client meetings. The expected workload is 10–15 hours per week, with potential to expand over time as the company grows.
Compensation:
This position is W2 a part-time, non-exempt, hourly position. Pay rate, subject to standard tax and other withholdings and deductions, is $42.83 per hour and will be paid every two weeks. Estimated regular pay, assuming ~50 hours of work in a given month, will be approximately $1600 per month. MCBD will also receive an additional quarterly “profit-sharing bonus” (after 90-days of employment) estimated to range from $750-$1250 depending on CLS profitability in a given quarter. Position also includes a flexible PTO policy with hours accrued immediately upon hire.
