Job Summary:
We are seeking a relationship-driven Strategic Partnerships Manager to drive new client acquisition and institutional partnerships across 100 Degrees Consulting and Prosper Learning Co. This role blends business development, partnership strategy, and hands-on outreach, with a strong emphasis on mission alignment and revenue growth.
In this role, you will identify, cultivate, and close partnerships with nonprofit organizations, foundations, and institutional partners. You will balance high-level strategy with execution, building pipelines, holding relationship-building conversations, and collaborating closely with internal leaders to ensure strong handoffs and long-term success.
This is a flexible, part-time role ideal for someone with a fundraising or institutional partnerships background who thrives on connecting purpose and profit.
Core Focus Areas:
100 Degrees Consulting
- Identify and engage nonprofit organizations in need of ongoing financial strategy or bookkeeping services
- Identify federated organizations that are good candidates for a shared service model
- Develop and manage a proactive outreach plan to generate and qualify new client leads
- Conduct calls to understand prospective clients’ needs and position the right service tier
- Warm and hand off qualified prospects to the Director of Client Services and team for proposal and onboarding
- Maintain accurate tracking and reporting of leads, pipeline stages, and outcomes using Monday.com and Ignition
Prosper Learning Co.
- Build relationships with foundations, philanthropic networks, and capacity-building organizations to fund or license nonprofit education cohorts
- Create and deliver partnership proposals and presentations in collaboration with CEO
- Establish lightweight systems (CRM, tracking) to manage outreach and partnership activity
- Collect and leverage social proof from both program participants and foundation funders to demonstrate impact and ROI
- Explore and close additional licensing opportunities that expand reach and revenue
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a lead-generation strategy
- Conduct outreach via email, phone, virtual meetings, and in-person opportunities to build relationships with potential partners and clients
- Collaborate with internal teams (Client Services, Ops) to ensure smooth handoffs and cohesive messaging
- Track KPIs related to pipeline volume, conversion rates, and closed deals
- Provide CEO and Director of Client Services with regular updates on revenue progress, opportunities, and market insights
Ideal Candidate:
You’ll excel in this role if you:
- Have 5+ years of experience in fundraising, development, or business development, ideally selling services or programs to mission-driven organizations
- Are skilled at translating impact and value into funding or purchase decisions
- Have experience closing deals with foundations, institutions, or large nonprofits
- Are entrepreneurial, self-directed, and excited about building systems from the ground up
- Thrive in a flexible, high-trust environment and can take calls during standard business hours
- Love both strategy and execution — you can design the outreach plan and pick up the phone
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer
- Repeated and coordinated use of your hands, wrists, and fingers to use and type on a computer keyboard, requiring the use of fine motor skills
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Compensation:
- Hourly base rate: $60-70 per hour for up to 10–15 hours per week
- Commission Structure:
- 5% of first-year client revenue, to be paid after the client has been active and paying for 3 months.
- PLUS an additional 2% of the first-year revenue, to be paid only if the client is still active at 12 months.
- Example: $2,500/month client = $30,000 annual value. Commission: $1,500, paid after 3 months PLUS retention bonus: $600, paid at 12 months
- Contract type: 1099 contractor
Reporting & Collaboration:
- Reports directly to the CEO
- Dotted-line collaboration with the Director of Client Services for lead quality, process alignment, and client handoffs
- Works closely with Operations and Marketing to support growth initiatives
Success in the First 6 Months:
- Build and implement a clear, repeatable outreach and lead-generation system for 100 Degrees Consulting
- Establish a foundation and institutional partnership pipeline for Prosper Learning Co.
- Create a simple social proof system, including testimonials and case studies
- Close 3–5 new client or partnership deals generating measurable revenue

- 30-minute panel interview with Director of Client Services and Director of Operations
- Reference Checks
- 30-minute interview with CEO (to begin mid-January)
