    About the Role

    ResultsLab is hiring a Senior Impact Consultant to be the primary lead for a project in Colorado’s Public Health sector. The Senior Impact Consultant is instrumental in shaping and driving our work. This role is client-facing and will lead a variety of activities and projects with nonprofits, communities, philanthropic, and government agencies. Senior Consultants are mentors and coaches for their project teams, play a supporting role in growing our company, and provide thought leadership to the sector. They design and lead large-scale evaluation projects, facilitate strategic design, build capacity for internal and external clients, and can develop and/or lead a variety of other training and thought leadership initiatives.

    What You'll Be Doing

    Measurement & Insight Planning and Delivery

    • Lead measurement strategy and design - support the development of learning questions and overall methodology to inform gathering information to answer these questions.
    • Oversee the development and documentation of measurement strategies and plans, including the identification of indicators and optimal data collection methods.
    • Responsible for the design and implementation of a variety of data collection approaches, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, active and/or participatory data collection techniques as well as secondary data reviews.

    Data Analysis, Visualization, and Use

    • Lead data management and data analyses to ensure high-quality data, and that findings or results are well-supported.
    • Develop clear and compelling data communication products to fit the needs of the intended audience. This may include comprehensive reports, briefs, visual presentations, and infographics.
    • Facilitate data use processes to bring data to life and lead the client, partner, practitioner, or specific community to identify actions based on the data.

    Coaching & Training

    • Develop training and technical assistance plans to meet the needs of a variety of clients.
    • Deliver high-quality technical support and coaching to organizations and communities in one-on-one and group-based formats consistent with adult learning frameworks.
    • Coach a variety of organizational roles (i.e., client leadership, program leadership, data managers, service providers) on data use cycles to improve program and organizational performance
    • Develop written materials (i.e., toolkits, playbooks, summary decks) to encompass developments in program design, program implementation, performance measurement, and evaluation.
    • Design coaching or training sessions, right-sizing the content, language, and approach to align with the needs of a wide variety of audiences.

    Strategy and Project Management

    • Drive the overall design and implementation of projects, execute deliverables in a timely, high-quality way while communicating progress to client and ResultsLab team members.
    • Lead project teams, providing oversight and direction to ensure high-quality deliverables.
    • Manage project resources to optimize efficiency and performance.
    • Manage client communications and expectations.
    • Provide mentoring, guidance, and support to team members.
    • Steward high-quality relationships with colleagues and clients.
    • Facilitate project team feedback mechanisms and apply learnings to strengthen processes and improve outcomes.

    Thought Leadership

    • Inform, educate, and advocate with stakeholders on health equity, policy and systems, evaluation concepts, and ensure a shared understanding and clear expectations.
    • Facilitate strategic discussions with funders and partners to shape funding strategies that improve long-term health equity outcomes.

    Organizational Development and Growth

    • Identify new business or partnership opportunities for ResultsLab.
    • Support the development of new or continued business through developing proposals and providing consultations.
    • Evaluate projects and initiatives and set plans for improvement.
    • Support the development and delivery of thought leadership strategies, including blogs, workshops, and presentations.
    • Contribute to organizational goals, including special projects and cross-functional initiatives.
    • Strategize with the ResultsLab team on new product lines and services.

    Requirements

    Core Qualifications

    • Minimum 10 years of experience in evaluation and/or applied research with a focus on health, health equity, policy, and systems change.
    • Master’s degree in a social science field.
    • Minimum 5 years project management experience, including operations, resource, and financial management with multiple, concurrent projects.
    • Proven ability to lead large-scale, multi-site evaluations relevant to health equity and systems change in partnership with government agencies and community-based organizations.
    • Strong understanding of social determinants of health, health equity, policy, and systems change frameworks.
    • Experience leading mixed-methods evaluation, data visualization, and knowledge translation to make data actionable.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage complex timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
    • Experience working directly with government stakeholders, navigating funding and reporting requirements.
    • Demonstrated ability to synthesize dense content into actionable insights and to use data storytelling to drive policy and programmatic change.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in all evaluation activities and reporting.
    • Strong writing and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to produce clear, compelling reports and presentations.
    • Experienced facilitator with the ability to plan and deliver sessions to a variety of audiences.
    • Advanced practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel with strong data visualization skills in PowerPoint.
    • Demonstrated experience in data reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or comparable.

    Bonus Skills & Experience

    • PhD in Public Health or related social science field.
    • Proficient with qualitative analysis platforms such as NVivo, Atlas.ti, Dedoose, and others.
    • Exposure to and experience using one or more data management systems, such as Salesforce, ETO, Apricot, mySQL, or others, and a willingness to learn additional systems.
    • Working knowledge of R, SPSS, or comparable analytic packages.
    • Spanish language proficiency.
    • Colorado or Washington-based preferred.

    Location

    We are a national organization and welcome applicants from across the country, though this role must be based in Colorado. We are a fully remote team; incoming candidates need to be very comfortable in a remote working environment. Impact Service Team members should be prepared to travel (including overnight when needed) to meet with clients and deliver services approximately once a month. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

    Compensation

    The annual salary range for this position is $84,800 - $104,000, plus benefits including: medical, dental, vision, 401K match.
