    Position Summary

    We are seeking an Account Associate (Field & Community Engagement Focus) to support our expanding presence in the Bay Area and Central Valley. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in grassroots organizing, community outreach, public affairs, or political campaigns who excel in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

    This is a community-facing position responsible for regional outreach management, stakeholder engagement, and program coordination. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing teams, building relationships with community-based organizations, organizing workshops and events, and representing the firm across diverse communities.

    While the role will have a primary regional assignment, it is not a project-based position. We are looking for a long-term team member who can help grow our community engagement, outreach, and coalition-building capacity in Northern California.

    The Account Associate will also work closely with internal departments—including operations, data intelligence, finance, HR, and creative services—to ensure seamless execution of deliverables.

    What You Will Achieve

    Regional Field & Community Engagement Leadership

    • Serve as a regional lead for community engagement and public-facing initiatives
    • Manage, supervise, and support outreach staff across multiple Bay Area locations
    • Build and sustain relationships with community partners, nonprofits, local leaders, and stakeholders
    • Represent the firm at meetings, community events, workshops, and stakeholder convenings

    Event, Workshop & Outreach Coordination

    • Organize and execute community events, workshops, canvassing activities, and outreach drives
    • Provide case management–style follow-ups with community members as needed
    • Coordinate logistics, scheduling, materials, and vendor support for local initiatives

    Project Coordination & Internal Collaboration

    • Support account managers with day-to-day operations across multiple client accounts
    • Track project progress and follow up on tasks, deadlines, and team needs
    • Collaborate with cross-functional departments (data, operations, HR, creative) to execute deliverables
    • Prepare summaries, updates, and reports to communicate on-the-ground insights to senior leadership

    Communication & Content Support

    • Draft or assist with reports, memos, presentations, outreach scripts, and other communication materials
    • Contribute to the development of visually compelling materials for clients and stakeholders
    • Ensure clear and timely communication between internal teams, partners, and community contacts

    Time & Task Management

    • Balance a dynamic schedule involving meetings, travel, outreach coordination, and content development
    • Organize daily, weekly, and monthly tasks with strong attention to detail and competing priorities

    Who You Are

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in public affairs, community organizing, political campaigns, or related fields
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse communities and stakeholders
    • Demonstrated experience managing outreach teams, community partners, or grassroots initiatives
    • Highly organized with strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Proficiency with Google Suite, Slack, Dropbox, Canva, Trello, and Tableau dashboards
    • Experience creating or supporting presentations and visual materials
    • Comfortable working independently in the field and managing fast-paced, deadline-driven workloads
    • Willingness to travel throughout Northern California as required
    • Fluency in Spanish or Vietnamese strongly preferred

    Working at Street Level Strategy

    • Starting salary: 75,000- 80k
