    The Role

    This position provides great exposure and hands-on learning experiences in both the digital marketing and nonprofit spaces. Through this role, you will support our digital marketing team and work directly with clients on paid social and search advertising, website development and updates, search engine optimization, and email marketing. We’re seeking an individual with a passion for managing projects and who is looking to grow their technical marketing skills. Someone new to digital marketing could be a fit for this role as long as they are a self-starter, a natural collaborator, and possess an eye for detail.

    In this role, approximately 35% of time is spent on campaign execution and optimization, 25% on project and client management, 20% on reporting and analytics, 15% on content production and QA, and 5% on team and administrative support.

    Duties

    • Create and manage client timelines, trackers, schedules, and associated email communications.
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of paid social and Google Ad Grants campaigns and collaborate with the Director of Digital Engagement on overall campaign strategy.
    • Assist with the content production process, including QAing, proofing, drafting some technical copy, and publishing content across various channels, such as websites, paid/organic social media, and email marketing.
    • Own the creation of detailed campaign performance reports with key metrics, findings, and optimization recommendations based on KPIs.
    • Support clients in building and maintaining website landing pages.
    • Provide website guidance to clients, including SEO recommendations, keyword and competitor research, site audits, data analysis, and performance monitoring.
    • Provide support to the team with calendaring and scheduling.
    • Join and participate in weekly client meetings.

    Qualifications

    • A self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset.
    • An interest in the nonprofit space, social justice, and advocacy.
    • The ability to prioritize when working across multiple projects, managing both expectations and deadlines.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience with Google Suite and Canva.
    • Some knowledge of email marketing platforms, such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.
    • Some knowledge of web development, CRO, and SEO.

    Great to Have

    • 1-2 years of work experience.
    • Experience with Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads Manager, and Google Ads Manager.
    • Knowledge of website hosting platforms – WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, etc.
    • Some knowledge of Google Analytics and other analytics platforms.

    Salary and Benefits

    Salary is $55,000 per year. Benefits include 15 days of paid time off (after 90 days of employment and with supervisor’s approval), eleven national holidays, five sick days, Summer Fridays, a week off between Christmas and New Years Day, $550 per month towards health insurance, access to dental and vision insurance, 401(k) and more. Wingo NYC is a positive work environment with wonderful colleagues and clients.

    Location

    The position is hybrid. Each staff person is required to work in our New York City office three or more days per week. Wingo headquarters is a sun-filled office near the transit hub of Penn Station in Manhattan.
