A-List has trained teachers at over 500 schools and organizations throughout the United States, Latin America, Europe and Asia to run their own in-house SAT and ACT preparation programs and now serves 50,000 students through our programs and services. Hosting on-site test preparation courses has yielded remarkable results for our partners; their students consistently outpace national averages for test score improvement by a factor of 3 or more.A-List’s fully customizable SAT/ACT professional development programs equip instructors with the tools and resources to effectively integrate SAT/ACT content and strategies into existing curricula and/or to run a stand-alone test prep course. Training session programs can be tailored to incorporate the Common Core State Standards; allowing teachers to best leverage the new skills they acquire. To complement our teacher training services, A-List has also developed an extensive suite of SAT/ACT student and teacher books, study guides, and e-learning tools. Customizable Training Components

Once your school begins a partnership with A-List, we will perform a thorough analysis of your students' scores to inform the training focus as well as provide teachers with pre-surveys to guarantee that time spent will provide the maximum benefits.

A-List also offers an array of direct instruction options to our school and nonprofit partners from traditional test prep for the SAT and ACT to Core Skills courses to small group tutoring to teacher assistance in the classroom to college readiness programming. We have years of experience running successful educational courses. In over seven years we have worked with over 19,000 students from a broad range of academic backgrounds empowering them to reach their educational potential.

In addition to SAT/ACT teacher training, A-List also offers college essay writing workshops to introduce attendees to the process of writing winning personal statements supplemental essays. We also offer vocabulary building workshops, which address how to develop vocabulary specific lesson plans for every subject.
