Academic Approach

Standardized tests are a rite of passage for many middle school and high school students. At Academic Approach, we view these tests as teachable moments: opportunities to mentor students when they are most in need of supportive coaching and intelligent instruction. Academic Approach believes in skills-based instruction and teaching beyond the test; we strive to provide students with the skills they need to be successful in high school and college.

We utilize a variety of instructional approaches as well as excellent curricular resources to ensure that we reach every student. As we work with a variety of schools in the Chicago metropolitan area, New York, and across the country, Academic Approach feels incredible urgency behind our task: improving academic and college readiness outcomes for students.

To reach these goals, Academic Approach works with traditional, charter, and independent schools to provide classroom courses, assessment and analysis, and professional development to improve school effectiveness and faculty capacity.
