    Descripción

Are you a bold, visionary leader ready to build bridges—between people, between systems, and between community needs and long-term solutions?

The Shalom Project is seeking a full-time Executive Director ($88,000–$110,000) to lead its work in breaking cycles of poverty through holistic programs like a free Medical Clinic, Food Pantry, Clothing Closet, and the innovative Flourish and Peters Creek Community Initiatives.

But this role goes beyond day-to-day operations— it’s about cultivating strong leadership, inspiring collaboration, and guiding the organization toward long-term impact. If you’ve got the skills to lead both people and strategy—and the heart for community impact—this could be your calling.

    What you’ll bring:

      • Nonprofit leadership experience
      • Passion for human services and social equity
      • A gift for building relationships with staff, funders, board members, and community partners
      • The ability to lead with empathy and effectiveness
      • A deep understanding of -and connection to - the Winston-Salem community

This role needs someone who can nurture staff, scale impact, and strengthen board engagement to help The Shalom Project thrive for years to come.
