    Position Overview

    The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment for both temporary and permanent positions at MDC and on behalf of our clients, including coordinating timelines, sourcing candidates, and maintaining consistent communication. This role oversees multiple open positions at once, balancing competing deadlines while producing high-quality work. The Talent Acquisition Manager operates within MDC’s established recruitment systems and processes, applying them consistently while remaining flexible to client-specific needs. Success in the role requires the ability to navigate shifting priorities, use internal tools effectively, and represent MDC with professionalism in all client and candidate interactions. The Talent Acquisition Manager will embody MDC’s culture and principles.

    Office Setting:

    This position is based in Rockville, Maryland, with a regular on-site schedule of 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM EST, Monday through Friday.

    Professional Background:

    • 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience required.
    • Experience recruiting across multiple functional areas
    • Prior experience in an agency, RPO, or consulting environment, preferred.
    • Strong stakeholder management, including comfort working with executive-level clients.

    Core Functions:

    • Draft clear, compelling job descriptions that align with client needs and MDC standards.
    • Source talent using job boards, professional networks, and creative outreach strategies.
    • Screen candidates, schedule interviews, and support offer coordination.
    • Maintain timely, professional communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
    • Lead kickoff meetings and advise clients on hiring timelines and process expectations.
    • Provide regular status updates, manage client expectations, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure progress and alignment.
    • Deliver a proactive, high-quality client experience that reflects MDC’s service model.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and records using MDC systems (ATS, Box, tracking tools).
    • Track and report key hiring data, including candidate pipelines and time-to-fill metrics.
    • Provide informal onboarding and guidance to internal team members supporting recruitment.
    • Coordinate with client managers on temporary staffing needs, including initiating requests, clarifying role expectations, and tracking assignments.
    • Serve as a point of contact for temporary staff, conducting regular check-ins and addressing questions or concerns throughout the assignment.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of MDC’s recruitment tools, workflows, and documentation.
    • Escalate issues or concerns to leadership in a timely and solutions-oriented manner.
    • Monitor and maintain job board accounts and postings to ensure accurate, up-to-date content.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    • Delivers a consistent, service-oriented experience to clients, candidates, and colleagues.
    • Exercises sound judgment and professionalism in all internal and external interactions.
