    Position Location: US based, Remote. Open to candidates who reside in close proximity to a major airport in the following states: DC, MD, MA, MI, CA, NY, NC, DE

    The Global Platform Team at Imaginable Futures is seeking a Finance and HR Coordinator. This position will report to the Global Head of Finance and be responsible for managing or supporting a range of processes across accounting, finance, HR and investment/grant activity. As an important member of the Finance team, the Finance and HR Coordinator will play essential roles in advancing the impact and culture of Imaginable Futures by ensuring smooth operations, supporting grant and investment activities.

    Here's More About What You'll Do:

    Accounting and Finance (Approx. 70%)

    • Assist in the review of monthly/quarterly financial statements and supporting details prepared by our external accounting partner, which includes updating portfolio investment and grant schedules, and budget to actual reports.
    • Work closely with our external accounting partners in recording transactions on Intacct and Salesforce.
    • Manage vendor invoice payment process, including reviewing vendor invoices or other supporting documentation for proper approval, coding, and accuracy.
    • Lead the review and processing of employee expense reports.
    • Assist with determining cash needs of the entities and capital calls.
    • Perform wire transfer confirmations and related administrative checks to support accurate and timely grant disbursements.
    • Perform and assist special projects and other duties as assigned (Dashboards, systems integration, reporting etc.).

    People and Culture (HR) Support (Approx. 20%)

    • Perform data entry tasks related to employee records and HR metrics.
    • Manage onboarding and offboarding activities.
    • Assist in benefits administration, including processing new hires, terminations and employee changes.
    • Manage aspects of compliance such as updating labor law posters.
    • Manage periodic PTO audits and Brazil PTO calendar, manage the annual holiday calendar across all geographies.
    • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

    Other Operations (Approx. 10%)

    • Support due diligence in the grant-making process by conducting screenings, financial checks, and required compliance reviews.
    • Execute contract administration for grant by sending contracts to grantees, providing guidance, and tracking execution status.

    • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, plus two years of relevant industry experience in nonprofit
    • Prior Finance and/or HR administration experience strongly preferred

    • Software skills including: A mastery of Microsoft Excel, Sage Intacct and Salesforce experience highly preferred, expense management & Accounts Payable experience (ie Ramp), is a plus
    • Reliable high-speed internet access.
    • Comfort with occasional travel for internal team meetings, training and other corporate events.

    Competitive Compensation And Benefits: The estimated annual salary range for this role is $66,200 - $82,700. However, the precise placement in the career band will depend on location, experience and competencies demonstrated. The full range is posted for compliance and to share salary potential over time. New hires typically start at the beginning of the salary range.
