Grants & Communications Associate

Bioforcetech is a Bay Area sustainable technology company turning organic waste into carbon-negative materials through our proprietary systems and applying them through our OurCarbon® brand. We’ve recently received a major grant to expand our work — and we’re seeking a detail-oriented Grants & Communications Associate to help us track progress, coordinate projects, apply for further grants, and share our story.

About the Role

You’ll support our team by coordinating milestones and reporting for active grants, assisting with new funding applications in North America and the EU, and by writing clear, engaging communications that highlight our impact. This role is perfect for someone with 1–5 years’ experience in project coordination, grants support, or communications who thrives in an organized, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Track project deliverables and deadlines; support internal reporting for grant projects
• Assist with grant proposals, submissions, and documentation
• Write blog posts, reports, and updates about Bioforcetech and OurCarbon
• Support storytelling and outreach efforts

Qualifications

• 1–5 years’ experience in grant writing, grant management, and/or project management
• Strong writing, organization, and independent-work skills
• Experience with U.S. and/or EU grants a plus

Salary and Benefits

$75,000-85,000 DOE + Health, Vision, Dental
