    About the Role

DeansList is expanding their Operations Team and is looking for a Operations (Ops) Associate to join the team in a newly created role. The Operations Associate will support cross-team collaboration at DeansList, help manage internal systems, and contribute to organization-wide planning and execution. There are lots of job experiences that we think could lead to success in this role! Some previous roles that we think would be a natural fit include - school based operations managers, experienced executive assistants, program coordinators, and office managers.

    Responsibilities

As the Ops Associate, you'll work closely with team members across all DeansList departments. You will execute cross-team projects, spending time coordinating work streams across departments while owning the logistical and administrative tasks needed for the project’s success. You will often have both a 10,000 foot view of projects, while also spending lots of time “in the weeds” making sure all of the small details are checked off.

As you grow in the position, you will work with the Operations Team to build and launch new systems to operationalize and streamline work across DeansList. You will also get the chance to assist with or own special projects, as they come up, to support the Sales and Operations teams.

Examples of the types of projects this person might take on:

    • Plan DeansList events including team retreats and small and large client conferences. This may require tasks like securing event spaces, booking travel, coordinating school visits with DeansList clients, and perfecting agendas.
    • Act as the operations support for school onboarding during our bustling summer season, including being the person to jump in and support when our School Success and Sales teams are really busy! This may require tasks like setting up automated reminder emails to new clients, reaching out to DeansList users about upcoming deadlines, and brainstorming new ways to streamline our summer work.
    • Project manage regular outreach campaigns to current DeansList users. This may require tasks like - leading internal meetings with folks from multiple DeansList teams, tracking tasks and following up with DeansList team members for content, and managing outreach calendars to ensure plenty of time for content creation.
    • Help ensure smooth internal DeansList operations. This may require tasks like - supporting the hiring and onboarding of new DeansList team members, planning ongoing internal team building, and supporting DeansList team members with purchasing travel, home office supplies, and more.
    • Conducting research on a range of topics (i.e. software selection, education trends, business analyses) and presenting your findings and recommendations back to the team.

    Qualifications:

    • 2-5 years of work experience
    • Some previous roles that we think would be a natural fit include - school based operations managers, experienced executive assistants, program coordinators, and office managers
    • While this is a remote job you should enjoy spending your day working and collaborating with others, both teammates and our school clients.
    • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple work-streams at once
    • Detail oriented
    • Experience managing up and working with multiple teams in a remote work environment
    • Is able to be a self starter, taking on new projects with minimal instruction
    • Comfort using modern SaaS tools for project and data management (we use Monday.com, Salesforce, Zoom, Notion, and Google Suite)
    • Experience in education or working in K-12 schools (or with DeansList!) is a plus!

    Compensación

    • Annual salary of $65,000 (non-negotiable)
    • Medical, dental and vision insurance
    • 401(k) with 4% match
    • Fully remote
    • Flexible vacation policy
    • Home office stipend
    • Reimbursement for classes, training and conferences
    • Travel stipend to visit schools
    • In this role, you will be expected to travel a few times a year for events like our company-wide Retreat, annual user events, and a Operations team meetup
