Regency Hospice of NW Florida

Regency Hospice’s goal is to provide the patient and family with compassion quality individualized palliative care to terminally ill persons. Hospice services include regular intermittent visits by an interdisciplinary team of professionals who address the physical, psycholsocial and spiritual needs of patients and their families.

Hospice volunteers may choose to serve in any or all of the following roles:

1. DIRECT PATIENT CARE VOLUNTEERS. Visit our patients in nursing facilities or in their homes, providing companionship, emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families.

2. ADMINISTRATIVE VOLUNTEERS. Assist with administrative/clerical needs in the office, including filing, data entry, assistance with mailings, making phone calls, etc.

The Volunteer role is one of a friend and supporter, not expert or authority.
