Hospice is a special kind of care designed to provide comfort care as well as spiritual and emotional support for people in the final phase of a terminal illness. Hospice focuses on providing physical, emotional and spiritual comfort to clients and families, in order to enhance the quality of life in this end stage of life. Hospice affirms life and regards dying as a normal process. Hospice ensures that clients spend their final days in dignity and comfort in the setting of their choice.
Volunteers are an important part of our interdisciplinary team helping us to provide the extra love and care our clients and their families need at this stage in their life.
Volunteers offer support, companionship and practical, caring help to this special group of people.
