Remita Health (Rem-Purpose; ita-Way) was founded on the commonly held belief and vision of its Founders, with well over 50 years of combined health care and hospice expertise. We believe that the end-of-life experience should be one of total dignity and respect for the individual sanctity and quality of life.

The volunteer program at Remita Health is for those who want to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Our volunteers usually make commitments that last from weeks to months, and it typically involves visits during daytime hours. We encourage our volunteers to focus on providing comfort, support, and companionship to patients and their families, wherever they may reside.
