A Plus Healthcare at Home

We are seeking compassionate volunteers! Volunteers can make a big difference to Hospice patients and caregivers. Hospice is a comprehensive healthcare program, designed to help people who have a terminal illness and life expectancy of up to 6 months. As volunteers, we are able to add extra relief by offering companionship, light housekeeping, and a break for the caregiver who often gets burned out.

Ways to Serve:

• Sit and talk
• Read
• Play music
• Handle light housekeeping home repairs/lawn care
• Make memory books
• Complete office work

Requirements:

At least 1 hour a week

• Complete Hospice volunteer training program (mostly online and takes about 12 hrs. to complete)
• Willing to undergo a background check (we pay for), and a TB test
