Tamarack Holdings is a family of food companies based in Traverse City, Michigan. Together we are building a better food system, one bite and a time. Tamarack Holdings offers its companies shared services in key business areas like Finance, Technology and HR, so these businesses can focus on better sourcing, sales, and customers service.

Cherry Capital Foods is a distributor of mostly Michigan products. We work with Michigan and regional farmers, foragers and food producers to source local, wild and specialty products for our customers in restaurants, retail and institutions. Our team of Delivery Drivers not only delivers to customers around Michigan, we maximize food miles driven by picking up new product from vendors.

Food for Thought is located just outside of Traverse City in the Long Lake Culinary Campus, a repurposed school. We produce and package quality organic and artisan food products in our state-of-the-art production facility. Food For Thought works to source products from Michigan farms when possible and bring awareness to the natural sweetness in fruit, without adding unneeded sugar.
