Volunteer helps counteracts the effects of stress and anxiety and strengthen the ties to the community . Hospice care prioritizes comfort and quality of life by reducing pain and suffering for patients nearing the end of life. Hospice is a very rewarding place to volunteer.

Our volunteer can make a difference in many ways to improve the life of patients who are facing a life-limiting illness. From direct contact with patients to providing clerical support, the volunteer are an important part of our hospice care team. At Amedisys, we offer comprehensive training and creative ideas. people helping people . that is what giving to hospice care is all about. As a Hospice volunteer and as an important part of our Hospice Care Team, you can help improve the quality of life of our Patients, as well as their family and caregivers.
