Volunteers can assist with public education at our nature centers at White Point in San Pedro and George F Canyon in Rolling Hills Estates. Visitors come to these centers to learn more about the Land Conservancy, local ecology, geology and cultural history. We also host activities at the centers.
Volunteers can also assist with 3rd grade educational programs. We offer ecology programs in over 20 local elementary schools and provide hands-on nature field trips!
No skills or experience required - just an interest in public education and learning more about the Peninsula's natural, cultural, and geology history.

After completing Nature Center training, Docent receives personalized PVP Land Conservancy name badge and polo shirt!
