Something broken at home? Found a hole in a much loved clothing item? Frustrated with your computer or phone? Repair Cafe can help - Join us for repairs and snacks.
We are a group of volunteer repair experts with a focus on community. Once a month, we bring our tools and knowledge to a library in Fairfax County, to provide repairs and advice for a variety of things - clothing, household appliances, technology, toys, and more! We're on a mission to build community resilience and make your stuff last longer.
No cost for admission or repairs, all repairs provided on a volunteer basis. Light refreshments available.
If you have a question about whether you can bring an item to us, or if you want to know more, email us, we're happy to discuss options with you.
If you are arriving by car, parking is available in a dedicated lot outside the library, accessible from the Arlington Boulevard Service Road, on the eastbound side of Arlington Boulevard. There are several access points for this service road, but if you're coming from the westbound side, it might be easiest to use the Graham Road intersection or the entrances for Graham Park Plaza shopping center.
If you are arriving by transit, this location is served by WMATA MetroBus F60, F61, and F62.
No RSVPs needed! You can visit us anytime from 10:30am to 12:30pm. You can bring an item to be repaired, or if you'd like, a snack to share. We welcome everyone, whether or not you need repairs that day.
