Extra Money Expo Brings Income Opportunities and Community Impact to Oak Cliff

Dallas, TX — August 15, 2026 — Own It Financial Education Inc. will host the Extra Money Expo, a one-day community event designed to connect individuals seeking additional income with businesses offering real opportunities for growth, entrepreneurship, and financial empowerment.

Taking place from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM the event is expected to attract 500 to 1,500 attendees from Dallas County and surrounding areas.

Unlike traditional vendor fairs, the Extra Money Expo is built around a single purpose: helping people find ways to earn more money. Attendees will engage with businesses offering side gigs, business and franchise opportunities, financial tools, and sustainable income solutions.

“Financial literacy starts with income,” says Anthony Jones,Executive Director of Own It Financial Education Inc. “This event is about connecting motivated people with opportunities that can actually change their financial trajectory.”

In addition to business exposure, the Expo supports community development efforts by funding free financial literacy,business education and implementation coaching. Proceeds benefit Own It Financial Education Inc., a nonprofit focused on financial stability and generational wealth by providing education, coaching and resources through and our partnering organizations.
