Do you want to connect with your community in Alachua County in a hands-on way? The CWC is looking for new members to join our Energy Coach volunteer team! When you take our 3-part, 12-hour volunteer training, you'll learn from our team of energy experts, how to:
- Perform home energy tune-ups for local residents; inspect homes and identify ways to improve energy and water efficiency and save money (with a focus on helping our low-income neighbors)
- Understand and analyze utility bills
- Install water-saving shower heads, faucet aerators, pipe insulation, LED bulbs, and more
Join us for our three-day* workshop:
Wednesday, October 22nd.......5:30 pm - 8:30 pm at United Church of Gainesville
Wednesday, October 29th.......5:30 pm - 8:30 pm at United Church of Gainesville
Saturday, November 8th…........9:00 am - 3:00 pm - Location TBA
