Join the Global Paint for Charity to celebrate our 14th annual America Recycles Day (ARD) with our partners, the Gwinnett Solid Waste Management and Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful, at Gwinnett County Fairgrounds (at 2405 Sugarloaf Parkway, Lawrenceville, GA) Parking Lot on Saturday, November 8th, 2025, from 9:00am until noon.
Gwinnett County residents can drop off items typically more challenging to recycle, such as latex, oil-based paint, electronics, and tires. The event aims to keep the county beautiful and sustainable, with an expected attendance of 500-3,000 people and partner organizations. The goal is to recycle over 6,000 gallons of paint to support our mission.
If you have leftover or unused paint from home renovation projects, you can bring it for proper disposal and to support free paint donation programs worldwide.
Here are some essential things to remember before you come:
– Oil-based and Latex paint will be accepted and limited to 10 gallons per vehicle
– Ensure the lid of the containers is tightly sealed
– Other accepted items include
– Paper shredding is limited to five copier paper boxes
– Tires without rims are limited to eight tires per vehicle; no dealer tires
– Electronics recycling is free except for TVs, monitors, and printers – ($35 cash fee per projection/console TV; $15 cash fee per computer monitor or TV; $5 cash fee per printer)
