Position Summary:
The Training & Learning Architect strengthens the League’s mission by delivering high-quality trainings that support municipal leaders in core loss protection areas, advancing the adoption and impact of the League’s Learning Management System (LMS), and contributing to continuous process improvement across the education portfolio.
This role is member-centered at its core: ensuring that every training, digital product, and process is responsive to the real needs of Wisconsin’s municipalities. The position emphasizes hands-on training delivery, leveraging data to shape education priorities, and driving adoption of innovative learning products.

This position reports to the Director of Training and Member Services. This position does not currently have supervisory responsibilities but may be assigned direct reports in the future as education and training services of the League and League Insurance expand.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience, with an anticipated starting range of $85,000–$95,000 annually. A comprehensive benefits package is included, featuring participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS) pension program and the Employee Trust Fund (ETF) health plan.

Environment: The role follows a hybrid work schedule. Employees are required to be in office a set number of days each week. During the initial onboarding period (first 90 days), the expectation is that the employee will work on site more frequently to ensure successful training, collaboration, and team integration.
Physical: Incumbents require sufficient mobility to work in an office setting and operate office equipment. Ability to set up displays and conference areas for presentations and set up and break down booths in conference settings by oneself. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Vision: Vision sufficient to read small print, computer screens and other printed documents.
