Coordinates volunteer, education, and other activities to implement the Dallas County Open Space Program.
Responsibilities:
Education, Experience and Training:
Education and experience equivalent to an Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in a job related field of study and four (4) years’ experience in an event coordinating, planning or related position dealing with the public and volunteer workers.
Special Requirements/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Skilled in the use of standard software applications. Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, departments and the general public. Strong biological science, anthropology, archaeology background.
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
Standard office environment. Ability to traverse parks and preserves.
