    About the Position

    The Department of Health Services' Behavioral Health Division is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the SUD Prevention Program Supervisor. In this vital role, you will serve as a project lead for federal, state, and philanthropic grant-funded initiatives, while also taking on a key leadership position within our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Prevention Program. Additional responsibilities include:

    • Serve as project lead for SUD prevention-focused grant-funded programs
    • Provide high-level administrative and strategic oversight of the SUD Prevention Program
    • Develop, implement, and update the SUD Prevention Five-Year Strategic Plan to reflect local needs and funding priorities
    • Monitor and support contract deliverables, budgets, and invoices to ensure fiscal compliance
    • Create educational materials and lead community trainings, outreach events, and wellness-focused workshops
    • Lead and coordinate grant deliverables and reporting processes
    • Organize and facilitate the Prevention Partnership Coalition to ensure effective cross-sector collaboration
    • Make independent decisions related to program changes, implementations, and training strategies
    • Engage and collaborate with community stakeholders, internal departments, and partner agencies
    • Represent the division at community meetings, stakeholder events, and public engagements
