Charles County DSS (CCDSS) is a government agency providing child welfare and adult services; public assistance benefits such as SNAP and TANF; and child support services to the citizens of Charles County MD. The Advisory Board of CCDSS is a volunteer not-for-profit organization that serves as an outreach arm for CCDSS, focusing on community awareness, development of services consistent with the mission of the Department, and creating greater community understanding of how individuals are served by CCDSS. Volunteer opportunities to serve on this Board exist through the Charles County Government website where applications for membership are available.
