Legal Assistance Office, Fort Meade

We are looking for volunteers interested in working in our tax center from January through April 2014. Volunteers will assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns for active duty service-members, military retirees and their families. We also need receptionists willing to schedule appointments, in-process clients and answer basic questions. This is an excellent opportunity to assist our military community while gaining valuable tax preparation office experience. This position will give you an excellent opportunity to experience what it is like to work in a military legal office or law firm. We provide training. If your college provides college credit, we can certify the paperwork upon fulfilling the requirements.
