Our district covers the lower watersheds of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario, stretching across 38,000 square miles of New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. We’re headquartered in Buffalo, with area offices in Cleveland and Toledo, as well four field offices and the Mount Morris Dam & Recreation Area.

Our main location in Buffalo is a great place to live, with opportunities for outdoor activities in all seasons, excellent music/theater/sports/cultural events and world class food! We have temperate summers, incredible fall colors and, of course, lots of skiing for when the snow flies. Housing is affordable with terrific school options for families. Our office is a stone’s throw away from the Canadian border and easy driving distance to Toronto. Niagara Falls is just 30 minutes from the office, and driving a few short hours will take you to Cleveland, Pittsburgh, the Allegany Mountains, and New York’s forever wild Adirondack Mountains. Set on the shores of Lake Erie, there are opportunities for boating and all sorts of water sports. Buffalo has undergone an incredible rebirth in the last 15 years and is truly an excellent place to call home!
