The Visitor Services Program for the Utah State Capitol provides a meaningful experience for all guests to the Capitol Hill Complex by educating visitors about the history of Utah and its Capitol building, the democratic process, architecture and symbolism of democracy, and the restoration and renovation of the Utah State Capitol. The program provides opportunities for visitors to understand the Capitol through thematic guided experiences and activities that highlight the Capitol, its grounds, artwork and artifacts, exhibitions, and events, as well as the people who serve the citizens of the State.

    Acerca de

The Capitol Preservation Board was created in 1998 by the Utah State Legislature and Governor Michael O. Leavitt. As the Stewards of the Capitol, the Board has the responsibility to maintain, improve, and oversee the buildings and grounds on the Capitol Hill Complex. This translates into three unique programs that are managed by the board on a daily basis, including Visitor Services, which includes giving hourly educational tours of Utah's beautiful People's House.
