City of Little Rock AmeriCorps Urban Safety and Environmental Program

The City of Little Rock AmeriCorps Urban Safety and Environmental Program seeks to make an impact in neighborhoods in Little Rock through providing energy efficiency audits and retrofits, minor rehabilitation to home exteriors and safety and security assessments and upgrades for homes. The COLR ACUSEP, in conjunction with the LRPD, has focused its efforts in areas of the City that have shown higher crime rates than others. The efforts are seen as a way to boost interaction between citizens and service members to serve as a catalyst for improving resident engagement within the City. The program seeks to reach out into neighborhoods as a force for good, leveraging resources and individuals that are able to Get Things Done!

This is an AmeriCorps State and National Program so there are benefits for your service including: living allowance, education award, ongoing training and a lifetime of connections and opportunities.
