BeFitNYC

This summer, thousands of New Yorkers will volunteer to lead groups that will help integrate physical activity into their lives, engage friends and family in their efforts to be fit, and together, help communities get moving!

The new BeFitNYC.org allows New Yorkers to:

• Search thousands of free and low-cost fitness opportunities, from aerobics classes to walking clubs to ongoing sports leagues;
• Invite friends and family to join in their fitness activities using Facebook; and
• Create their own physical activity events and classes, so that they can create activities that fit into their daily lives.
