Arlington EATS is a visionary nonprofit engaging the community in eliminating food insecurity and hunger in Arlington. EATS is experiencing a time of growth as food insecurity rates continue to rise in our community. As a result, we are looking to add a part-time Development Director to our staff team to advance our mission, secure funding, build relationships, and increase visibility.
Position Summary: The Development Director (DD) works collaboratively with the Executive Director (ED), the Development Committee of the Board, and EATS team to increase revenues from a variety of sources through individual donations, events, corporate sponsorships, foundations, and grants. The DD, in partnership with the ED, will design and implement strategies to diversify EATS’ funding base, use data to improve storytelling around EATS’ impact, and grow a base of committed and informed supporters. This role requires a hands-on, results-driven individual who thrives in a collaborative and mission-driven environment.
Position Type: This will be a part-time exempt position and will report directly to the Executive Director.
Hours/Days: 32 hours per week (hybrid). Flexible schedule, will require occasional evenings and weekends depending on the need for representation at events.
