Position Summary
Nurture seeks a full-time coach to support adult learners in our 12-week Business Start-Up program. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting women in achieving personal and financial independence through small business ownership, and who brings experience in early childhood education, coaching, and trauma-informed practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate weekly virtual group sessions (20 – 30 participants) via Zoom
- Review participants’ coursework submitted through the Nurture app and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Respond to participant questions via text messaging and phone calls
- Conduct one-on-one coaching calls and virtual business plan review meetings
- Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation on participant progress and experience
- Represent Nurture in outreach and engagement activities to recruit potential child care entrepreneurs

Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in coaching, counseling, early childhood education, or a related human services field
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
- Cultural competence and/or lived experience with rural, Latina, immigrant, and low-income communities
- Experience in trauma-informed coaching or counseling
- Strong group facilitation skills in virtual settings
- Skilled in reflective listening, empathy-based communication, and inquiry-driven learning
- Confident initiating one-on-one conversations to offer guidance or support
- Ability to document relevant participant insights and progress in a clear, respectful, and confidential manner
- Background or experience in early childhood education, human development, or psychology
- Working knowledge of small business fundamentals, including in budgeting, pricing, licensing, taxes, and family-centered marketing
