POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Maintenance & Construction Manager, the Maintenance Assistant performs hands-on maintenance, repair, and improvement work across Watershed/Equinox buildings and grounds. This role supports the execution of established maintenance plans, project scopes, and preventative maintenance schedules to ensure the safety, functionality, and long-term stewardship of our creative community spaces. The ideal candidate combines strong technical ability with initiative, accountability, and respect for a vibrant artist-centered environment.

COMPENSATION AND TERMS
This is a part-time, benefits eligible position (25 hours minimum per week) based in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle, WA. The role is fully on-site, with some flexibility in scheduling. It is non-exempt and eligible for overtime, with compensation ranging from $25 to $30 per hour, depending on experience. General tools, supplies, and equipment will be provided. Watershed Community Development is a community-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that operates Equinox Studios, a complex of over 170 artist and artisan workspaces. Watershed is preparing to build over 600 units of workforce housing and community space along 4th Avenue S. in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle.
