Role
Under the general supervision of the Director, assist in the administrative responsibilities of programming, community outreach, collaboration with other agencies and events/activities. This position requires cross functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of five years of professional experience working with older adults in a congregate setting.
- Bilingual: English/Spanish
Responsibilities
- Recruit, supervise and coordinate activities.
- Manage and oversee scheduling of programming and activities.
- Designate room set-up for activities in collaboration with all relevant staff/consultants.
- Create Monthly Activities Calendar.
- Manage scheduling of and communication with consultants.
- Work with Director in program planning and development.
- Assist in inventory control accountability of supplies.
- Ensure equipment is in running order.
- Maintain close attention to the welfare of the physical space.
- Compile statistics, prepare reports, keep attendance and other required records for all programs.
- Data Management: Entering units into database (Peerplace, STARS, VIVE, etc…)
- Manage incoming communications, telephonic and electric.
- Assist Director with compliance of auditable standards and requirements.
- Represent agency in community and interagency activities.
- Plan and execute events and special activities.
- Promote the center through ongoing outreach endeavors.
- Preform any other duties as recognized by the Director.

Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Salary
$50,000 annually, based on experience
