Short-Term Consultant: Warm Introductions to Bank & Economic Development Foundations (New Jersey Region)

Seeking a short-term consultant with existing relationships at bank-affiliated and economic development foundations to make five warm, qualified introductions on our behalf.

Ideal candidate already knows current staff at institutions such as The Provident Bank Foundation, Capital One Foundation, Chase, or Citi or similar funders supporting small business, workforce, and community development. NOTE: we already have several warm relationships with many foundations so submitting the list to ensure non-duplication is important.

Responsibilities include facilitating introductions and guiding next-step strategy. Engagement lasts 4-6 weeks.

The consultant can receive a total fee of up to $1,000, paid as $100 per verified warm introduction (up to five) and an additional $100 for each introduction that results in a confirmed meeting or call with a foundation representative (i.e., staff of a bank’s charitable or philanthropic foundation, not general bank employees or relationship managers).

Please upload 2 things: a brief proposal (1 page) specifying your relevant relationships including names of the foundations, description of professional relationships at those institutions, and two professional references. Also upload your CV.

We welcome experienced fundraisers, philanthropic consultants, or retired foundation officers with genuine networks in the NJ banking or economic-development sectors.
