About Community Voices Heard (CVH)
Community Voices Heard (CVH) is a Black and brown-led, member-driven power-building organization fighting for dignity, justice, and economic security for low-income New Yorkers. Rooted in community organizing, CVH builds collective power to advance housing justice, participatory democracy, and economic equity across New York State.
We organize because lasting change happens when directly impacted people lead.
Position Overview
CVH is seeking a Strategic Campaigns Researcher to support member-led organizing campaigns through strategic research, power analysis, and campaign intelligence.
This role helps uncover the relationships, decision-makers, and systems behind the issues our members are fighting to change — from housing injustice to economic inequality.
Working closely with organizers and campaign leaders, the Strategic Campaigns Researcher will help transform information into action: identifying targets, mapping power, producing campaign briefs, and supporting strategic escalation.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is deeply curious, analytical, and excited about using research as a tool for organizing and building power.
This position reports to the Organizing Director.
