    Are you ready to join a dynamic team and take your career to the next level? The Washington Society of CPAs (WSCPA) is looking for a tech-savvy, detail-oriented professional with A/V setup, video production and customer service skills to be our next Technology & A/V Administrator!

    This hybrid role (3 days a week in the office and 2 days from home) is a key part of our Technology team, providing outstanding support to our members and internal team.     How You’ll Contribute to Our Team

    • Excel in setting up A/V for webcasts, hybrid conferences, and seminars, ensuring flawless execution and troubleshooting as part of our dedicated A/V team.
    • Work collaboratively with other staff to script, shoot, and produce videos to inform and educate our members about our programs and initiatives.
    • Bridge communication between our A/V crew and event staff, ensuring seamless coordination and flawless production schedules.
    • Serve as the voice behind the scenes at conferences, ensuring both online and live audiences enjoy seamless experiences.
    • Drive exceptional professional development by assisting our team and subject matter experts in delivering top-notch continuing professional education (CPE) tailored to member needs.
    • Serve as a member of the customer service team, offering excellent service to members and stakeholders via phone and chat.

    Skills/Abilities/Competencies

    • Tech Troubleshooter: Moderate tech skills with the knack to fix issues and manage technical A/V and webcasting setups.
    • Video Production Enthusiast: You enjoy putting together and editing videos and have an interest in expanding these technical skills.
    • Customer Service Champion: You excel at providing top-notch service with a smile.
    • Detail Detective: Your keen eye spots the smallest details.
    • Communication Wizard: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are your forte.

    • Flexible Worker: Available to work occasional evenings and extended hours, including setup days before events. (Estimated to be 30 days/year.)

    • Self-Starter: Initiative-taker who thrives without close supervision.
    • Adaptable and Mobile: Able to work at off-site locations as needed with reliable transportation for timely arrivals.

    Qualifications and Experience

      • High school graduate or equivalent.
      • One to three years’ experience in A/V and video production preferred
      • One to three years’ experience in an administrative and/or customer service role
      • College coursework in liberal arts, office applications or related field a plus
      • Association or not-for-profit experience a plus
      • Experience with online learning systems (LMS), digital broadcasting tools, or webinar platforms a plus.
