NEW Pride Agenda (NPA) is looking for our next Statewide Policy & Advocacy Manager, who will
lead NPA's statewide legislative advocacy, working directly with legislators, lobbyists, coalition
partners, and community stakeholders. It will be important that the manager also has
awareness and is attentive to the national landscape as it relates to LGBTQ+ rights.
Reporting to the Executive Director and working across departments (organizing,
communications, programs), this role ensures that state-level advocacy efforts are strategic,
coordinated, and community-informed. The manager will play a key role in shaping and
advancing laws and policies that protect and uplift LGBTQ+ New Yorkers. With a deep
understanding of the legislative process, strong community engagement skills, and the ability to
work collaboratively, this position will help ensure that New York remains a leader of LGBTQ+
equity and inclusion.

Here's What You'll Do
the state and local levels that impact LGBTQ+ rights; Craft and review policy documents;
Develop strategic recommendations

Position Details
SUPERVISOR | Executive Director
SALARY | $65,000-$72,000
Final compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include
geographic location, work experience, knowledge, and skill level
CLASSIFICATION | Exempt, full-time
LOCATION | Hybrid with some travel; ; Preference for candidates based in Capitol Region,
Central NY, or Western NY / Finger Lakes Region.
