About the Program
We intervene upstream by teaming up with families to stay together. Families in crisis are often facing real-world stressors, such as poverty. But the right combination of supports when they need it most can help build bridges to brighter days.
Through our Support & Stabilization program, we provide intensive in-home supports to families involved with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) who are working to maintain or regain custody of their children. We provide services to alleviate the crises that brought them there, so that more families can stay intact and fewer children are placed into foster care.
Who We Are Looking For
HopeWell's Support and Stabilization Program seeks a passionate, master's-level clinician who thrives in dynamic environments and believes in every family's capacity for growth. You'll bring your clinical expertise directly into homes and communities, creating transformative experiences for children and families referred by the Department of Children and Families. Your versatile therapeutic approach and commitment to strengths-based practice will help families navigate complex challenges, whether working toward reunification or establishing new paths to permanency. If you're energized by meaningful work that changes family trajectories and find purpose in meeting clients where they are—both literally and figuratively—we want to connect with you.
The Impact You'll Create
Under the guidance of our Clinical Supervisor, you'll become an essential member of each child and family's support network, weaving together comprehensive care through thoughtful collaboration. Working alongside HopeWell's resource teams, clinical staff, and DCF partners, you'll transform lives through individual and family therapy that centers children's needs while honoring family strengths. Your trauma-informed therapeutic interventions and skilled case management will create pathways to healing, while your advocacy will connect families to vital community resources that sustain their progress. With every interaction, you'll safeguard children's wellbeing while nurturing the resilience that allows families to write new chapters in their stories—creating ripple effects of positive change that extend far beyond your direct service.
