    Organizational Overview

Founded in 1999, the New York City Alliance Against Sexual Assault’s mission is to prevent sexual violence and reduce the harm it causes through education, research, and advocacy.

The Alliance works closely with rape crisis programs, victim service providers, hospitals, District Attorney’s Offices, law enforcement, court officials, and leaders across New York City to develop and implement best practices and policies, raise public awareness, and create sustainable change for survivors. Through training, advocacy, and research, the Alliance has been an active force in fighting for recognition of the magnitude of sexual violence in New York City.

As the organization grows, our reach increasingly extends across New York State, supporting statewide initiatives, partnerships, and survivor-centered systems change.

    Position Overview:

The Campus Coordinator supports the Alliance’s Campus Training Institute, and Enough is Enough (EIE) programming by coordinating training, technical assistance, and outreach for colleges and universities across New York City. This role focuses on the delivery of trauma-informed, evidence-based education, policy support, and capacity-building for campus partners.

The Campus Coordinator works with campus administrators, Title IX staff, students, and community partners to implement trainings and resources aligned with New York State EIE requirements and best practices in sexual violence prevention and response. The role also supports elements of the EIE Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Center by assisting with resource development, partner engagement, and data collection. The Campus Coordinator also coordinates and oversees the Changemakers Fellowship, supporting student leaders across partner campuses through structured programming, mentorship, and engagement aligned with the Alliance’s campus prevention and advocacy goals.

The Campus Coordinator is an active member of the Alliance’s Programs Team and works collaboratively across the organization using a survivor-centered, anti-oppression, and equity-informed lens.

    • Support the implementation of fellowship activities, meetings, and learning opportunities in alignment with program goals, timelines, and available resources.
