    Descripción

Are you passionate about making a positive impact? Join a mission-driven team turning today’s energy challenges into opportunities by cutting waste, lowering bills, and building an economy that benefits all. The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE), a leading nonprofit research organization based in Washington, DC, seeks a full-time Executive and Engagement Assistant. At ACEEE, your work delivers practical, cost-effective solutions that help communities nationwide save energy and reduce emissions. Together we’re advancing the efficient use of energy, equitably and at scale, on a path to cut U.S. energy use in half by 2050.

    About ACEEE

Since 1980, ACEEE has advanced practical, cost-effective solutions to use energy more efficiently. Our independent research and advocacy have shaped landmark federal and state policies, catalyzed clean technologies, and made energy efficiency the nation’s most productive energy resource. Efficiency today saves more energy each year than the U.S. consumes from any other single source—including coal, oil, or natural gas. And as electricity demand rises rapidly from electric vehicles, data centers, and domestic manufacturing, efficiency remains one of the most affordable and immediate solutions to meet demand, reduce emissions, and strengthen resilience. Our vision is a clean energy future that secures a healthy planet and better lives for everyone.

ACEEE’s organizational culture is collaborative and team-oriented with a strong commitment to its mission. Staff work at an energetic pace within a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment with opportunities for professional growth and development. There is a high degree of workplace flexibility, with an emphasis on results, making ACEEE an enjoyable and fulfilling place to work. ACEEE is dedicated to fostering and maintaining a culture that values all individuals and ensures fairness while incorporating these principles into our research and policy work.
