The Program Director plans and builds ICAAP’s early childhood initiatives by developing programs, implementing tools, and creating strategies that impact early childhood policies and practice in Illinois clinics. The Program Director will engage and lead members of the Early Childhood and Reach Out and Read Committees in the strategic work of the organization.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate a commitment to pediatric health and thrive when supporting a team of mission-driven members, professionals, and stakeholders. They enjoy building initiatives and leading collaborations with medical professionals and partners to move from an idea stage to a program implementation stage. Previous work experience in early childhood or childhood literacy and its intersection with public health is desirable.

Cómo aplicar
A strong preference will be for candidates that can work 40% of the time in the Chicago office. However, a fully remote position would be considered for an exceptional candidate residing in Illinois outside of the Chicagoland area. Flexible working hours between 7 am and 7 pm. Occasional evening work or meetings required.
