The Opportunity:
Lead the Next Chapter of a Transformational Education Movement
Crossroads Charter Schools of Kansas City is on the brink of something big—and we’re looking for a bold, equity-driven, and community-centered leader to take us there. As our founding superintendent transitions, we’re seeking an exceptional successor to build on our strong foundation and help us become Missouri’s premier charter school system.
With three thriving campuses in the heart of downtown Kansas City, a deeply committed leadership team, and a powerful network of families, educators, and community partners, we are ready to expand our impact, deepen our innovation, and raise the bar for public education statewide.
About Us:
A Downtown Campus, A Community School Spirit
Crossroads Charter Schools is a dynamic public charter school network serving students from diverse backgrounds with an unwavering commitment to:
- Belonging: Every student, staff member, and family is valued, seen, and heard.
- High Expectations: We set the bar high—for academic achievement and for ourselves.
- Creative Culture: We encourage innovative teaching, joyful learning, and authentic self-expression.
- Real World Learning: Our neighborhood is our classroom. We partner with Kansas City’s businesses, nonprofits, and arts organizations to prepare students for the real world—because we’re already in it.
We operate three schools: Crossroads Academy – Central Street (K–6), Crossroads Academy – Quality Hill (K–5), and Crossroads Preparatory Academy (7–12) as well as community partnerships for pre-kindergarten students. Together, our downtown campus is an urban hub for learning, leadership, and possibility.
